Lorrie has been recently diagnosed with cancer as a mass was found between her skin and the outside of her lung causing it to collapse.  After a colonoscopy there were also masses (polyps- hopefully benign) found in her colon/intestines.  She started a trial chemotherapy treatment on Monday, July 2nd at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle. Lorrie will need several surgeries to remove the masses as well as reconstructive work. As we know treatments, time off of work, and travel expenses add up quickly.
