Lorrie Deegan

Hi everyone,

To those who don’t know me, my name is Maddie. My amazing mother was Lorrie Deegan. For those that knew my mom, you know how much of an incredible, kind soul she was.

As friends know, she wasn’t only my mom but she became the mother of anyone that walked into our home and welcomed everyone with open arms. She always saw the good in people even when others couldn’t and she treated everyone equally. She helped so many people both in her career as a drug and alcohol counselor but also within her personal life.

My mama was truly the most amazing person and deserved the world, she was everything a daughter, sister, or friend, could ask for and the last gift my aunt and I wish to give her is a proper funeral to honor the life she’s lived and the love she gave.

In March 2020 she got COVID-19 which caused kidney and heart failure. She was the strongest woman I’ve ever known and she fought hard until on January 1st, 2023 her body couldn’t fight anymore. For those past two years she has been in and out of the hospital which lead to me having to help her financially as best as I could. Because of that, I have nothing left for a funeral service or the cremation.
