It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have to share the sudden and unexpected passing of my sister Lorraine on the 6th April 2024. She was a Daughter, Sister, Mother and Cousin and has 2 children Thea and Jaycie.

With all the emotional pain and stress that death brings it can also bring financial burdens. We would like to give Lorraine the funeral and send off she rightly deserves to honour her memory and say our last goodbyes. Loosing Lorraine so unexpectedly is something unimaginable, and something that will never be healed. Our family will never be the same without her and neither will anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Despite her health challenges Lorraine worked tirelessly to support her two girls and provide them with everything they needed to grow into the beautiful young ladies they are today. Her dogged determination, faultless caring nature shone through in every aspect of her life. Her caring nature and outlook on life, supporting SEND work she did at both Manor Green and Northgate Primary School was her passion.

Lorraine will be so deeply missed by every single person that knew her and we hope that her memory will continue to live on in each and every one of us. She leaves behind 2 beautiful children Thea (18) and Jaycie (13) a Sister and both parents Fran and Geoff. No child nor parent should have to bury a loved one taken so soon.

It is times of sadness and loss when people can come together to help one another to make it through. Any support you may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated. Please keep our family and Lorraine’s children in your thoughts and prayers.

All proceeds of this fundraiser will go first to covering the funeral costs and then anything left over will go to supporting the children Thea and Jaycie at this tragic time.

We do not have a date for the funeral yet as there is an ongoing inquest into her death.
