Hi my name is Sara and i am a good friend of the Smith family. Lorna was aged 25 when she gained her angel wings. Lorna had a condition called DRPLA which is a condition Dentatorubral pallidoluysian atrophy (DRPLA) is a rare, inherited neurodegenerative disorder characterized by a range of neurological symptoms, including ataxia, cognitive decline, myoclonus, chorea, and epilepsy. It's caused by a genetic mutation involving an expansion of CAG repeats in the ATN1 gene. The age of onset and specific symptoms can vary, but generally, earlier onset is associated with more severe cognitive and motor impairments. Every u looked at Lorna she would have that beautiful smile on her face that would light up any room and brighten a persons day Lorna loved Jls and had a great passion for music. for those of you that are not aware Lorna's sister and brother have the same condition which gives them a short span in life.
