I wanted to share some information regarding my Uncle Lorn Rande and the challenging situation he and his family are currently facing. Lorn, who is 62 years old and has dedicated over 43 years to Pacific Woodtech, suffered a workplace accident earlier this year resulting in significant injuries. More recently, he was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma.

Due to these health issues, Lorn has been unable to work since March and has encountered difficulties obtaining WCB and disability benefits. His treatment plan involves frequent travel to various cities for ongoing medical care, which has placed a considerable financial strain on the family. Additionally, his wife, Kym, is unable to work due to her own health concerns and has recently been denied disability benefits.
