Lori Templeton- Beating Cancer
Donation protected
Graceful and optimistic, loving, patient, kind, gentle, and understanding- there is no one just like Lori Templeton and I am truly blessed to say she is my mom. As unfortunate as the cancer diagnosis she received back in July 2016 was, we have been amazed at her determination to beat the cancer and her faith in God through the process. There has no doubt been months of sickness/fatigue/weakness, losing all her hair, other uncomfortable and sometimes scary side effects, but she has remained brave and strong. Lori attributes her internal hope to her walk with God, calling these "light and momentary troubles" that will pass (2 Corinthians 4:17). Matt has also been a great source of strength, love, and support over the last several months. Thank you for everything, Matt!! You rock!
Lori started chemotherapy treatments in October 2016 and finished the last of eight treatments last month. She had her first of 21 radiation sessions March 21, 2017. Any additional questions you may have about the cancer/treatment, can be directed to Lori :)
In addition to the toll these kinds of treatments take on the body, they often come at a steep monetary price as well- the deductibles, the long drives to the hospital for treatments, and other incidental expenses. I want Lori and Matt to know how loved they are, that they are not alone, and feel some relief from at least the financial strain the last several months have caused them. Support us in this effort. Thank you.
