LoRita's Open Door Grand Re-Opening
Donation protected
LoRita’s Open Door is a second-hand boutique in Dickson, TN, benefitting CareNet, the local Pregnancy Medical Center.
Our story begins back in 2010, when our doors opened for the very first time in memory of a special lady, Mrs. LoRita. This dear woman was not only a huge blessing to the center but was also a pro-life advocate. She left behind a wonderful legacy after passing away in 2005. She had spurred a desire in the hearts of all of us at CareNet to provide quality and affordable woman’s, children’s, and maternity clothing, toys and baby accessories to the clients of the center as well as to the general public.
That brings us to today, celebrating 6 years of operation and ministry! LoRita’s is ready to undergo some much-needed renovations so that we can better serve our clients and the community. LoRita’s Open Door is a completely donation-based boutique, and all proceeds from the boutique go directly to CareNet Pregnancy Medical Center.
All the funds raised here by your generosity will go directly to LoRita’s Open Door Boutique to pay for the updates needed for the store.
Some of the updates and renovations we have planned include the following:
New signs (for better visibility)
Repainting shop walls
Painting existing shelving
Purchasing additional shelving
Purchasing additional clothing racks
Repainting the shop floor
Purchasing a dedicated computer and printer for the store
Internet access for the store
Upgrading organizational systems for baby items
Updating décor
Obtaining new shelving/organizational systems for our client room
Purchasing tagging supplies for newly implemented tagging system
Purchasing and installing track lighting for better lighting in our sorting area.
Purchasing shopping bags
Website expense
Printing business cards
It is our sincere desire that with these updates, we can expand our store and make it a more inviting place to welcome the women of our community to shop for years to come, which in turn funds the pro-life ministry of CareNet that has served the Dickson community for 21 years.
We will be closing the store and undergoing renovations April 5th-April 22nd, With the Grand re-opening on April 23rd. We hope to have the renovation funded by March 28th!
Thank you for your donation and support, we could not do this without you!
