In September 2016, Lori was diagnosed with stage 3-breast cancer at the age of 35. Lori started treatments and her body was responding well.
In October 2017, things took a turn. Lori learned that she had fractured vertebrae and that the cancer spread to her spine, brain and other areas in her body. Lori was admitted to the hospital for radiation treatments. The radiation treatments made Lori very weak and has limited her physical abilities. She was then transferred to a transitional care unit for rehab for two months. Lori returned home in December and is currently unable to work due to her health conditions, physical limitations and ongoing chemotherapy treatments.
Lori’s insurance has covered some expenses but she is taking on a great deal of out of pocket expenses due to her supportive adjunct treatments, nourishing foods and supplements she needs.
We are hoping to raise enough money to cover the cost of care she needs for herself while undergoing and recovering from these treatments. Along with helping take the financial stress from Lori and her family so she can focus on her health.
