Hello, my name is Lori Page. I am raising funds because my dad passed away unexpectedly on Friday May 30th in the hospital.

My dad was in the nursing home and they sent him to the hospital on Wednesday the 28th due to pneumonia. On that Wednesday when I was notified I talked to the hospital and they told me that he had pneumonia but was doing good. The next day when I called the hospital to check on him they had told me they had put all codes on him. I had or have no clue what that means. What definition they gave me was just in case something were to happen do they have the right to resesatate. I told them yes. I was also told he was still doing good but with his heart being so weak they couldnt push fluids like they should so they were gonna move him to the ICU. They told me he was talking to them and being a very nice man she said. They also informed me that the doctor wanted to talk to me so I left my number and waited for him to return my call. He never called. The next day when I got a call and called the hospital I was told they have been performing cpr on my dad for a long time and they are seeing no signs of hope to continue.

I am needing help with the cost or the cremation, hospital bill, and the nursing home. He was on social security but that didn't take over until the day before my dad's departure to the hospital.
