Lori's Funeral and Burial

In August my mom was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia at the south shore hospital and was transferred to brigaham and women's immediately to start a chemotherapy treatment . We were both so shocked not expecting such results to come back . We then spoke with two doctors that were assigned to my mom about what the next steps we're going to be . They then proceeded to tell us that she would need a bone marrow transplant to prevent the leukemia from coming back and worse at that . We want to doctors once twice a week , so many procedures and so much information but she was so optimistic about everything . A couple weeks later she received a call saying they found a complete match for her and she would be admitted in November 7 to start an intense chemo therapy and full body radiation. She responded well to everything. On November 14 she had her transplant and everything went well. The symptoms of the transplant started to progress but all she was having was completely normal . On November 28 they had to put my mom in the icu on a breathing ventilator because she had some fluid build up in her lungs and they were having trouble getting it out. The result came back not so good and the infection they found just spread until they found no brain activity by Thursday morning november30. She went peacefully with family and friends all there to support the fighter I was blessed to call mommy .

My mom has touched every single Persons life that she knew. She was so loving and caring. She was the one person you knew that would be there good or bad. I'm really not the type of person to ask for help but in this time I want to give my mom everything she would've wanted , not even just that what she deserves. Unfortunately we didn't think that this would go as far as to me having to plan my mothers funeral so we weren't as prepared . She had no life insurance. This is still a shock to me .

Please consider donating any amount to help with the expenses of My moms  funeral services. We will be donating any money left over to Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston.

I greatly appreciate you all .
