Hello to all of you lovers of the beautiful Lori Rubino and her family.
For those of you who don't know me, I am Michelle's girlfriend, Erin. I was blessed to meet her in October of 2013...immediately falling in love with her. Little did I know what I had fallen into. I was given a second family.
I have spent the last year or so getting to know this family, watching their sacrafice for one another, their love, and growing to love the "glue" that bound them together, Lori.
This woman was exquisite. She was a writer, a photographer, a mother, a wife, a sister, a daughter, a friend, a coach and a light to anyone who had to priviledge to have met her. To be in her presence was a gift in itself and to be loved by her was like nothing else. It is a hard thing, almost an impossible task to try and formulate the words to describe this woman. In my opinion, there were no words that did her justice. No words that could ever capture the love and energy she exuded...her aura. She was love. She was magical. She was an angel on earth.
This sweet woman has fought Breast Cancer for the last few years. She was a warrior. I can honestly say I have never seen so much fight, so much bravery, so much strength shown by someone who was also so tender and so gentle.
I wanted to create this fundraiser to help her family. I have been blown away by the out-pouring amount of love that has been shows by the messages, texts and calls. It has been incredibly overwhelming in the most beautiful way.
I am hoping that all of you who have been touched by Lori's grace and love will help us honor her fight and her life by donating whatever you can.
Your generous donations will go directly to her family. Her husband, her daughters and her sons. Your donations will help supplement the time off work her family is taking to grieve, any final expenses and travel costs.
I want to personally thank all of you for the abundance of love and support you have shown already for Lori and her family. Every message has been read. Every memory shared has been cherished. Your love has helped comfort her family during this difficult time.
