Lori B. Nash, age 44, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at her home in San Antonio, Tx. She was born January 17, 1973 in Baton Rouge, La.
She is preceeded in death by her grandparents, Owen and Edith Lockhart, and Julius Blount.
Lori is survived by her husband, Thomas (TJ) Nash, her father and mother, Lloyd and Lorraine Blount, her grandmothers, Wilma Blount and Etsuko Nash, her aunt Keiko Kadoishi, her sister and brother-in-law, Stacie and Devon Lajaunie, her brothers and sisters-in-law Erick and Wendy Powell, Phil and Sharla Moore, Neill and Julie Cole, her nephews and nieces, Jacob, Nicholas, and Matthew Lajaunie, Shannon Mack, Paige, Colby, and Lucy Moore, Emily, Asher, and Levi Cole, friends who loved her dearly, and Big-Dog Buckley.
Lori was raised in Denham Springs, LA., and graduated from Louisiana State University in 1996. She met her husband, TJ, in 2000. They shared a life together for 16 years.
Lori will be remembered for her incredible sense of humor. She was so much fun to be around, and she never met a stranger. Her beautiful smile and open arms made everyone feel welcome. Lori truly loved people and all animals. She was a fan of good music, and loved to spend time with friends. Lori also loved rock hounding, digging for stones and interesting artifacts, and was sure to give us a great big, excited smile when she found treasure. Above all, Lori loved HER people - her husband, her family, and her friends.
Family, friends, and others whose lives were by touched by Lori are invited to the Texas Funeral Home (2702 Castroville Rd., San Antonio, TX) on Saturday, April 8, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to reminisce, grieve, and celebrate Lori’s life.
