Dear family, friends and community members

 

Our dear friend, Lori Pearson, was diagnosed with aggressive, invasive ductal carcinoma on July 23, 2021. She has recently finished 5 months of chemotherapy.  Lori’s next treatments include a partial mastectomy in February followed by rounds of radiation in Kelowna in April.

 

Lori has a passion for nursing and has cared for people in her community for over 25 years. Lori has been unable to work since August. Her EI ran out December 4.  It’s now time for her community to care for her.

 Our aim is to raise funds to help with household expenses and the many expenses associated with travel to Kelowna.  We would like to remove any financial stress and allow her to focus on her treatment and recovery.

 

This is our opportunity to give our support to a great community supporter.
