Lori Middleton Family Assistance

On June 5, 2021 my mom Lori Middleton was admitted to the Critical Care Unit in Rex Hospital. She was in serious medical condition stemming from a bad infection that had formed in her leg. This infection came from her body rejecting a metal plate that was inserted from a previous surgery.

On June 10, 2021 my mom suffered a catastrophic hemorrhage that has impacted her lower brain. The damage to her brain was so severe that she will not be able to regain any cognitive function or basic life skills.

As the family is faced with the difficult decision to begin end of life and comfort measures, Lori has two (2) younger children Nick and Olivia, 14 and 12, who are my brother and sister. A family transition plan is already in place for Nick and Olivia to move to Florida with me where they will be provided with a safe, happy, and loving home. Their journey to recovery has just now begun as they will need tremendous support from family, friends, and loved ones around them.

I am asking for that support to help assist with their transition to Florida, their major life changes along with support to carry out my mom's final wishes, along with any medical bills that will arise from this.

Lori's one true passion in life was her love for her children. When it is her time to cross over into the afterlife, she will be able to rest peacefully knowing that they had so much love and support. I thank you for all of the heartfelt prayers, thoughts, and well wishes that have been sent to my mom and my family over the last week.
