The Lord has a new Angel.
Laurie McGaughey left this world at 2:34 PM on July 12,2017. She and her loving family were on vacation in Santa Cruz when she started having trouble breathing, and despite being rushed to a wonderful hospital where she was given the best care possible, she passed away from complications due to a pulmonary embolism.
She leaves behind her husband, John, of 30 years; 20-year-old daughter, Megan; and 15-year-old daughter, Hannah.
Laurie had the sweetest soul and kindest spirit. She was full of life, loving, and always loaned a willing hand to those who needed it. She will be desperately missed by those who knew her and will always love her. Financial contributions cannot ease their pain or help them heal, but it will lift the burden of immediate financial needs for medical bills and final expenses, and hopefully fund part of the girls' educations as they are both interested in careers in healthcare.
