I've met a lot of amazing people in my life. People who have beat the odds, when it seemed impossible. My friend Lori is one of them. Her fight is far from over, but she's a warrior. At the age of 42, she's battled Cancer, Covid-19, Diabetes, stroke and now, she's had to have her right leg amputated. Her left leg was weakened by the stroke, and relies on her wheelchair to be mobile. Her husband works 7 days a week, trying to support them, and their compounding mountain of medical bills. Lori is often home alone, with her special needs daughter. And since she lives in a mobile home, she can't get out in her wheelchair. Heaven forbid there is ever a fire, and she has to get out in a hurry. I want to have a wheelchair ramp installed, so she can safely get outside, to get some air, to feel the sun and ultimately freedom. We found a company that will install a ramp at her home, and we can't wait to get her back out into the world. If you can spare a few dollars, any amount, please help us make this dream come true. Let's get this beautiful soul her freedom, that she so deserves. Thank you, my dear friends.
