Lori passed away unexpectedly on 5/15/22 after a brief battle with lung cancer. Lori had barely started to feel good again following the death of her husband (2021) when she received the diagnosis. Lori battled the disease courageously and led everyone to believe the odds were remarkably in her favor.
In her last days, Lori became very close with the Lord and often spoke about having no fear of death because she knew what she had to look forward to in Heaven.
Lori's adult children are now tasked with planning her celebration of life and fulfilling the promises they made to Lori to care for her four horses, Rebel, Sue, Gus, and Sweet Tea. Anyone who knew Lori knew how much her horses meant to her, and we'd like to assist with the financial burden of promising not the let them go.
Thank you all in advance for your generosity. Some of you have already helped in other ways, and it will never be forgotten.
