Lori has been very sick since last October. She has been in and out of the hospital several times. During her last hospital stay she was in ICU and on a ventilator.  The doctors finally diagnosed her condition about 2 weeks ago.  She has Angioedema. They are going to try to treat it with medication, but if that doesn’t work she will have to undergo a very risky surgery on her larynx.  She lost her job and she cannot drive or go back to work for an indefinite period of time.
