Lori Cove’s Transportation Fund (Christmas present)
Donation protected
Lori Cove- our friend, our family, our fighter and survivor. Lori was hit while riding her bike by a drunk driver 8 years ago in Cary, NC. Since then she has had countless surgeries, huge daily struggles and has to accept each day that her life will never be the same.
Caring for Lori takes a huge emotional, physical and financial effort. Mostly done by her parents and loving sister. Each day is hard. And each day trying to bring Lori happiness and be her health advocate is our most important goal!
Her most favorite things of this last year are watching Clemson football, receiving mail from her friends and going to her parents house on the weekends…especially when her friends come over for lunch! And of course any birthday party when she gets to lick some icing.
These activities along with so many doctor appointments cost money. Transportation fees are around $200-$250 + driver tip each round, holidays a bit more. I am asking each of her friends to donate a few dollars again this year to help with these costs. The last few years have been hugely successful and made a BIG difference on her life!
This will once again be a surprise and will be gifted to her and her parents on Christmas morning.
THANK YOU in advance for making our girl just a little bit more happy in her very challenging life.
