For those who do not know, very early Tuesday morning Loretta had a stroke at her home and was transported by ambulance to Frederick Memorial Hospital and then flown to University of Maryland where they removed a blood clot. The procedure was successful and at this time she may need another minor surgery in one of her arteries before she comes home but, the doctor and nurses are blown away at her progress. At this time she has limited use of her right arm and is struggling with her speech but the therapists are working with her and she can already touch her nose with her right hand so our Loretta is amazing and pushing through. They checked her airway this morning and she is able to drink and eat slowly without choking. She is super tired but doing better than expected. However she is going to need physical therapy and will be out of work for awhile recovering, and as we all know life and bills don't stop when something happens. I'd like to be able to raise some money for them to cover her medical expenses and help them with their household bills, since they will be surviving on one income for some time. Any little bit helps and I know they will appreciate all the love and support we can give them in their time of need.
