Hey guys and gals Jiu Jitsu Therapy in Watsonville is building outstanding martial artists! West side Santa Cruz's very own Lorenzo Figueroa is ready to compete! Unfortunately the Bay Area Combat MMA fights in Santa Cruz will not be happening until later this year. In the mean time Lorenzo has decided to practice his skills in one of the biggest Muay Thai tournaments in the country.  This Thai Boxing Association- Sanctioning Authority tournament will tale place in Des Moines Iowa June 16-20 2021. Lorenzo will most likely have 3 or 4 fights over those 5 days. Lorenzo will be competing at 215lbs and his bracket is already looking stacked! The winner of each bracket will take home a TBS-SA belt! Coach Daniel Compton from Jiu Jitsu Therapy will be traveling with Lorenzo and competing is a separate division for Smash Fighter. This trip is going to be expensive.  We are both already registered for the tournament! We need your help with the cost of the trip! Our flights will be about $750. The room in the host hotel is a reasonable rate but around $700. Our registration was $200 a piece. Any additional money will go toward the cost of food and transportation in Iowa. Please help some Santa Cruz Locals follow their Dreams!!
