Hi my name is Alicia and I’m fundraising for my dear friend, Adriana, who has lost her father, Lorenzo Castro, unexpectedly to COVID on Sunday, January 9, 2022. Their father, Lorenzo Castro, was a kind, intelligent, soft-spoken man who enjoyed bike riding and long morning walks. He will be greatly missed, but will always remain in their hearts and be remembered for his gentle personality.

I can relate to this devastating news because I, too, lost my beloved mother to COVID on January 11, 2021 and it utterly shocked my family’s world in many ways. Receiving the love and support from family, friends and the community meant more than we could imagine. Therefore, I want to extend the hand of compassion and support to her and her family during these difficult times. From the bottom of my heart, and that of her’s and her family’s, THANK YOU!
