Lorenza's Battle Ends: Family Needs Your Help

Hello everyone,

My name is Lydia Grijalva, and I am reaching out on behalf of my family regarding funeral expenses for my aunt, Lorenza Garcia.

Lorenza passed away on May 30, 2025, at the age of 78. She was diagnosed with mandibular cancer in October 2024 and underwent a difficult surgery in November. Unfortunately, she did not recover well and her health continued to decline. Hospice care began on May 23, and our family remained by her side until her final breath.

Her only biological child, Cesar Garcia (age 45), is currently incarcerated for domestic violence against Lorenza and his 16-year-old daughter. Throughout her illness, Cesar made things incredibly difficult for everyone involved. He has terrorized and brutally abused anyone who tried to help her, adding to the emotional toll on our family.

Despite the challenges, we did everything we could to comfort and care for her in her final days. We are now asking for support from our community to help lay Lorenza to rest with the dignity and peace she deserves.
