Loren’s medical expenses
Donation protected
My sweet teddy bear of a cousin has had a sudden diagnose of a brain tumor. Very unexpected. And unfortunately is terminal.
I know the medical bills are going to quickly add up no matter the route they take. Loren was a school bus driver. Probably one of the sweetest ones you could find. This means there isn’t a lot to pay the cost they are about to incur. If you feel there is a place you would like to help a family. Please consider this one. I included her post this morning that helps explain what has happened. Thank you.

**Long post warning**
To all our dear friends and family: It has taken me a couple of days to get my brain wrapped around the news I need to share with all of you.
On Monday (2/14) Loren was admitted to IMC. He has been diagnosed with a very aggressive form of brain cancer. When they reviewed his MRI it was discovered he has two brain tumors (never say he's an under-achiever!) and brain swelling. One is located in his left frontal lobe and is growing quickly. The other is running along the ridge of his right brain hemisphere. Due to the nature of the aggressive tumor (glioblastoma) we have been told the diagnosis is terminal.
We are working with the surgical team and palliative care to decide what the best choices are for him and his quality of life. I promise I am going to try to make the best decisions possible for him to enjoy his remaining time here with us.
I never truly realized how much he means to so many people, until the news started getting out about his health. He is so loved by so many and we have been blessed to have his giant teddy bear heart to love us.
Loren, I know you won't see this, but I just need to tell you how VERY MUCH Miss M and I love you. We have been so lucky to have you be our main guy. You have been the rock of our family. Miss M has been one lucky Muffet to have you for her dad. I don't have the words to tell you just how much I love you.
We are reading every text message and listening to every voice mail. Please know if we don't respond right away, we are feeling your love.
This is something I NEVER imagined would become part of our reality. We love you all and will try to keep everyone updated as decisions are made and news changes.
