Operation Celebration: Well done Loren!

Loren Kolman has faithfully served with his wife Amanda in Cañon City for almost 18 years! Loren started Young Life in Cañon City with no committee and very little initial support from the community. In fact, he worked a side job for several years in addition to his Young Life duties to provide for his family while he was getting Young Life off the ground. Loren has worked tirelessly and prayed faithfully in the pursuit of introducing kids to Jesus.

Loren is leaving a legacy of faithfulness and excellence that we are deeply grateful for. A legacy we'd like to thank him for! 

We've decided to raise money for a couple big gifts that Loren would never go out and buy for himself.

First, if you didn't know, Loren loves to bike! Unfortunately, his road bike got stolen while they were on vacation - so we are going to get him a new one!

Second, if any of you have ever experienced a slow computer you know how frustrating it can be. Loren currently uses a computer that is powered by Fred Flinstone and a few dinosaurs. In fact I think the laptop is actually made out of prehistoric granite. But does Loren complain? Nope. Do we? Yes.

We would love to give Loren money for a new laptop so that he can work without frustration in his next season of life!

Any money we raise in excess of our goal will be given as a love offering to him and his family.

On the 5th of May we are hosting an open house farewell for Loren. We would love to have the gifts ready by then! Therefore, please have any contributions submitted before that date.
