About a month ago, we received news no one really wants to get. Our mom Lore, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. What started off as mid lower rib pain ended up in something none of us expected. Throughout the remainder of the year, she will be receiving 5 cycles of cancer treatments in Houston, TX. As many know she lives in west texas so she will be requiring to take many trips to Houston to receive care.

Throughout this whole process, she has been nothing but a Rock, filled with so much positivity and not showing one ounce of fear. For those who know her , y’all know that she is such a loving and supportive mother, family member, and friend. She is always going above and beyond for everyone, even if it’s a stranger never expecting anything in return. She is a giver.

This time , I feel we owe it to her to help her and the Marquez family out in need. The money you donate will help cover living expenses, treatment, recovery, and travel costs and it could truly help alleviate some of the stress the family will be accumulating with time.

She is truly blessed to have the strongest support system and community behind her. Thank you all who have helped out and stepped up along the way.

Hace aproximadamente un mes, recibimos noticias que nadie realmente quiere recibir. Nuestra mamá Lore, fue diagnosticada con Leucemia Linfoblástica Aguda. Lo que comenzó como un dolor en la mitad inferior de las costillas terminó en algo que ninguno de nosotros esperaba. Durante el resto del año, recibirá 5 ciclos de tratamientos contra el cáncer en Houston, TX. Como muchos saben, ella vive en el oeste de Texas, por lo que necesitará hacer muchos viajes a Houston para recibir atención.

A lo largo de todo este proceso, ella no ha sido más que una Roca, llena de tanta positividad y sin mostrar una onza de miedo. Para aquellos que la conocen, saben que ella es una madre, un miembro de la familia y una amiga tan amorosa y solidaria. Ella siempre va más allá para todos, incluso si es un extraño que nunca espera nada a cambio. Ella es una dadora.

Esta vez, siento que le debemos a ella ayudarla a ella y a la familia Márquez en necesidad. El dinero que done ayudará a cubrir los gastos de manutención, el tratamiento, la recuperación y los costos de viaje, y realmente podría ayudar a aliviar parte del estrés que la familia acumulará con el tiempo.

Ella está realmente bendecida de tener el sistema de apoyo y la comunidad más fuertes detrás de ella. Gracias a todos los que han ayudado y han dado un paso adelante en el camino.
