Hello Friends & Family,

As many of you are aware my father passed away October 12, 2023 tragically, upon our return from his dream trip to Ghana earlier this month. As of right now there is no official cause of death for me to explain why he was taken away from me so suddenly, so soon, and so traumatically, but regardless I am faced with making arrangements that I am still having incredible difficulty wrapping my mind around.

Many of you have offered kind words, condolences, and support, and ultimately at this moment donating to this fund is the best way to support me and my family at this time.

In the state of California there is a 40 day waiting period for funds belonging to the deceased to be released to their heir/beneficiaries, and while this will be very helpful in paying for a memorial service, more immediate expenses for cremation (which was his wish) and transferring his remains from San Fransisco (where he passed) to Los Angeles are due immediately.

No part of this is easy for me. My father was my support, my advocate, my role model, and my soul, and the fact that he's just gone is hard for me to describe with words.

It is my hope that reaching out to our friends and family to support me in paying for immediate arrangements will hope me honor his memory in a way that would make him proud.

Thank you for any monetary support that you can provide, and I hope I will see you at his memorial.

As stated these funds would go toward his cremation and transportation back to Los Angeles. Anything leftover will go toward event space and materials for his memorial service, which I am hoping to have at some point in November.
