As most of you know Lorelei has been suddenly and recently diagnosed with breast cancer that has unfortunately spread beyond where we thought originally. However, If you know Lorelei, whether it be through family, Needs Convenience store in Baddeck, or online through some of her favourite Facebook games (she has friends all over the globe) you’re aware of her humorous “try and stop me” attitude. She has the ability to get a chuckle out of anyone, even at 6am on her opening shifts. She’s the first one to stick up for someone or something she believes in. She surrounds herself with a circle of friends of all ages, including my own (her daughter Ariel) who all think the world of her “cool mom” attitude. We are looking for support for her upcoming battle with both aggressive chemotherapy and hormone medication and resulting costs of travel and medication for her upcoming sudden battle with cancer, which we all know, with moms attitude, is about to be told where to go, and how to get there ! We appreciate every single contribution, whether it be small or large, which will be going directly to Lorelei and her cause - kicking cancer in the ass !
