Lora’s Fight

Hi our names Sadie and Helen this is all new for us and never ever did we think we would be writing this.

Our beautiful bestfriend/sister Lora was a healthy happy 40 year old single mum to her beautiful girls Brooke 16 and Aubrey-Jai 12 ,

On Saturday 16th November 2024 we heard the earth shattering news

‘Lora you have cancer it’s stage 4 and it’s spread, to your brain,lung, spine, breast, and liver!’

We asked what’s the treatment plan is and when do we start, we got to told

‘I’m not sure we do’

Our world just shattered around us!

WHAT..HOW…WHY!

This all started with a sore shoulder 6 months ago, after multiple doctors and A&E visits and being sent home, we never in a million years thought we would be hearing these words!!

Our girl is the most beautiful and strongest person we know and her girls are her universe but as you can imagine there are so many things we are worried about!

She has an army around her supporting her and her girls but we would like to take some pressure off of her regarding finances as will not be able to work for the foreseeable.

They also have two beautiful dogs Bella and Bubbles, these two are her and the girls world and they bring such great comfort to them all! But it’s little things like not being able to walk them so any funds will also help towards the cost of a dog walker too as her team needs to concentrate on her and the girls right now!

Right up until this devastating diagnosis Lora worked 2 jobs- one part time and on her own online business, which we are now unsure when she will be able to return to.

We have applied for all the entitled things as far as we are aware but this won’t cover the short fall we would like to take the stress away as much as we can.

Everyone that knows Lora will know how much she would do anything for anyone and now it’s time for us to help her!!

We know times are hard for everyone but people are asking what to get her so even if you could donate a couple of pounds or share this page it will make such a difference to her and the girls!!
