Loraine Hones' Medical Expenses

Hi :) I'm Loraine Hone's best friend Rita! I wanted to start this GoFund me campaign to help Loraine with medical bills, and living expenses while she's in the hospital. She only works part time, so she doesn't qualify for FMLA which means no income while she's off work. She is a single mom, so by her being off of work is devestating to the household. 

I know a lot of you have asked what's going on with her, so here is what I know. She went into the hospital on February 24th with what looked like cellulitis on her shin. The doctors decided to do so an operation to see if what was in her leg could be drained (like an abscess). Upon further inspection they realized it was something worse than cellulitis but they weren't sure what it was. It took almost two weeks to find out ( and after many cultures and 3 surgeries) that she has necrotizing fasciitis in her left leg. This is a very agressive tissue eating bacteria. Loraine is currently in the ICU and undergoing many different treatments in hope they can save what's left of her leg.  She is stable but has a long road ahead of her. We're all praying that they're able to save her leg, but we won't know anything until the doctors see how the various treatments will work. 

Please consider donating! I know it will mean the world to her to know that her family and friends are willing to help her in this time of need. I can't even being to imagine what she's going through right now-- not only physcially but mentally. Helping her with finances will take at least one burden off of her.
