Memorial and family help for Lora V Chatman
On July 29th, 2021, we experienced the monumental loss of our beloved, Lora V Hardy Chatman. If you knew Lora, you knew she was a major pillar of our family. A compassionate and nurturing mother to 4 daughter's, Shellyta, Lora, Jessyka and Zoe, a loyal wife and best friend to her veteran husband, Rev Anthony Chatman, and a supportive sister to 3 siblings Carol, David, and Janice. She was a lively and creative soul who always spoke her mind and encouraged others to follow their hearts, as well as an advocate for social and political justice. She was always giving of herself throughout her entire life, and even beyond as an organ donor.
We humbly ask if you could find it in your heart to donate to our family.
From the Daughters: The unexpected loss of our mom left us blindsided, unprepared, and overwhelmed. She was the glue in our family and always on top of details, and ready to be the voice of reason. We just want to give her send off the justice it deserves and help lessen the suffering and stress placed on our father. He’s fought for this country with the Marine Corps, served his community as a pastor and activist, and after losing his best friend and wife of 32 years, we really want to give him space to be able to process this devastating blow.
The funds would be used to pay for a proper medical examination for closure, her cremation, and for us to be able to return our mom’s remains to her home state of Virginia. Any amount would help and is greatly appreciated.
