Lop Szeto's Funeral Fund
Donation protected
My name is Ginny. My boyfriend’s family and I decided to create this GoFundMe page to help raise money for the funeral of Lop Szeto.
Lop Szeto was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. Even though he was not my direct relative, I considered Lop as my own Grandfather. He was a very happy person, always willing to help other people in need. Seeing him and his smile would instantly melt your heart.
In 2004, Lop’s daughter tragically passed away. Since then, he took good care of his family by working hard as a restaurant server to support his wife and his grandson.
On November 16th 2016, this wonderful man was sent to the hospital for brain trauma sustained from falling after a cardiac arrest. Through the following weeks, he was in the hospital on life support. His family and I constantly visited him at the hospital in the hopes that he would wake from the coma. Unfortunately, he is still on life support and will not recover. The doctors have informed us that it is now time to remove him from the life support in the upcoming days.
We are still in shock and our hearts are numb. It is still hard to accept the fact that he has left us.
Lop Szeto does not have life insurance and his grandson, Jordan, has to take care of the funeral expenses. But because this happened so unexpectedly, he does not have the immediate funds to give his grandfather the funeral he very much deserves.
All funds that are donated will be put towards the funeral expenses. Anything would greatly help his family during their time of grief.
Thank you for all of your continued thoughts and prayers.
Love,
The Szeto Family
