On February 2, 2025, my husband Jesse had a massive stroke. He spent 5 weeks in the ICU and hospital and is now in a rehabilitation facility where he receives physical and speech therapy five times a week. He lost his ability to speak, the right side of his body is paralyzed, and he needs round-the-clock care. His insurance company covered the first 100 days of therapy while we have to pay for his stay at rehab. Medical bills are piling up. This includes the ambulance ride to the hospital first here in Bryant, then transport to the hospital in Little Rock, as well as his stay in the rehab facility. It is not easy to ask for help, but I am running out of money to make sure that Jesse gets all the help he needs.
