A Leap of Faith, One Last Step

This year (May 5th), my daughter and I stepped out in faith. We left behind what was familiar because I believed God was calling us toward something better (not easier, but better). Since then, we've been living out of my car, staying wherever we safely can: state parks, campgrounds, hotels, and anywhere that gives us a place to rest while I work toward a fresh start.

After months of uncertainty, God opened a door. I accepted a job that provides a free apartment after 90 days of employment. It's the opportunity I've been praying for.

The only obstacle is getting through those 90 days.

An apartment is available for us now, but my employment benefits don't begin until October 5, 2026. If I can rent the apartment until then, it will become part of my employment benefit afterward. If I can't, the apartment may be gone, and we'll have to continue living out of our car while waiting for another one to become available.

I'm not asking for a handout, I'm asking for help reaching the starting line. Every dollar goes toward securing this apartment so we have a safe, stable place to call home while I continue working.

Fundraising Goal: $5,000

This amount covers approximately three months of rent while I complete my 90-day employment period, required move-in and utility deposits, lease and administrative fees, and a simple bed. Any funds beyond these expenses will go directly toward basic necessities needed to make the apartment livable.
