Lonnie's Hip Revision

I'm having a hip revision, after a hip replacement in 2012.  It's necessary because of a possible infection, which I first incurred in 1983, after a car accident.   I'm having a complicated surgery and treatment, developed from a previous clinical trial; to put in a new hip and avoid IV antibiotics.  This could mean 2 weeks in the hospital and 6- 8 weeks recovery, if everything goes well.  Dr Swann will not know how much he will have to do until he operates.  I didn't have a lot of time to plan for this. It came up rather quickly.
I have healthy insurance, but not all costs will be covered. I will also be out of work for 8 to 12 weeks, depending on which treatment is chosen. I have two weeks vacation, but after that, I do not have short term disability, or any paid time-off for medical reasons.  I will be without income for 6-10 weeks. 
I will be able to use my computer, so I will continue to post about events and things happening in our area.  I'll be on crutches, but I won't be able to do a lot of moving around while I'm recovering.  As I said, I didn't have a lot of time to plan for this. I thank you for any help you would like to give.
