Lonnie King Wade Lopez Unexpected Passing

My daughter Alanah Lopez became a mother yesterday due to a sudden emergency c-section. After being rushed to the hospital for labor pains, it was not even a thought in her mind that the baby would arrive so soon. Things turned quickly after we arrived, everything started to seem okay. The doctors were even debating on sending her home, then in the flash of an eye… the babies heart rate dropped. It was decided that she would have to stay the night to get monitored because of the risky circumstances. Throughout the night his little heart continued to drop, they decided that an emergency c-section was the best option. Alanah was rushed into surgery 6/5/2019, at 12:05 am. At 12:22 am beautiful Lonnie King Wade Lopez was brought into the world weighing 2 pounds 13.5 ounces, and he sure was a little king. She was amazed at how she could create something, someone, a life so perfect.  It was love at first sight. Being 7 months and 2 weeks old Lonnie was sent to the NICU to be closely monitored, and to fully develop so he could fully enter the world together with his mother. His lungs were not fully developed so he could not breath on his own, connected to every machine possible and on life support our little guy fought for his life. His mommy stayed by his side as the nurses, and doctors did everything that they could to help him. Family came to meet him and fell in love at first sight. Unexpectedly his condition began to deteriorate, he fought, and fought. His lungs were not fully developed, being so small, oxygen could not reach him. Nurses, and doctors tried their hardest to save him, but there was nothing else they could do, he passed away in his mother’s arms at 6:45 pm 6/5/2019. Lonnie King Wade Lopez lived a short life of 18 hours and 23 minutes. Alanahs father Lonnie Houston welcomed his grandson baby Lonnie King Wade Lopez in heaven with open arms. Alanah feels somewhat relieved to know her father and son are together in heaven, she knows he will be well taken care of and now she has not one but two angels watching over her. Alanah became a first-time mother. I, her mother became a first-time grandma. Due to the sudden situation we need all the support possible from family, friends, and the community to help us send away our precious baby Lonnie. Due to Lonnie being so small we are required to have him be cremated, which will hopefully lead to a burial, and a plot for our baby boy. Alanah hopes to have her son buried right next to her father. In addition to funeral and cremation cost, donations will help with a plot, and any extra medical expenses that are not covered by insurance and help Alanah get through this difficult time.
