Lonnie Hensley desperately needs your help!

Hi, My name is Chris Santry. My wife Sharon and I want to help our dear friend Lonnie Hensley who suffered a severely fractured skull and other contusions due to unknown violent events in the early morning hours of Sunday, February 12. His injuries were so severe that he was in a coma when airlifted to Jackson South Medical Center in Kendall. Surgeons have had to remove a section of his skull to relieve pressure on the brain. As of this date, he is still in a dreamlike state and is unable to communicate or function.
Lonnie’s health insurance coverage is limited; his deductible alone is $17,000 and he does not have coverage for long-term care, which he will certainly need. Funds we raise will be used to pay his medical bills which continue to mount up at a staggering rate. Funds may also be used ultimately for financial support during the months of rehabilitation he will be facing. Thankfully, the team at Lonnie Hensley Auto are doing a great job of holding down the fort and maintaining the business while Lonnie deals with this terrible injury.
Lonnie has been moved from the ICU at Jackson South Medical Center in Miami to long-term care at Kindred Care in Coral Gables, where he will start his rehabilitation and physical therapy. Please give what you can to help Lonnie at this most critical time.
