Hey all!
I am beyond excited to share with you that I’ll be embarking on a long-term mission trip to Cusco, Peru, beginning late August 2025-late November 2025! My heart's been stirred by short-term mission trips and sponsoring a precious child abroad. God's been nudging me toward deeper involvement, and now doors are opening.
While in Peru, I will be serving primarily with a non-profit organization called Jóvenes Con Propósito (Youth With Purpose). This organization exists to engage vulnerable young people, including those who have aged out of orphanages, in a program that helps them develop vital life skills while also introducing them to the transformative love of God through mentoring and discipleship.
These young people may face many challenges—poverty, lack of educational opportunities, and limited support systems. While in Peru, I will have the opportunity to work alongside the staff at Jóvenes Con Propósito, mentoring these young people, and helping to teach them essential life skills like communication, leadership, and financial responsibility. But beyond just teaching and mentoring, I’ll also be striving to show them the unconditional love of Christ, and helping them discover that they have purpose and value in God’s eyes.
This mission trip is an amazing opportunity for me to learn, grow in my relationship with Christ, and serve others, and I can’t do it alone. I’m reaching out to you for support to help make this trip a reality.
Here’s how you can help me on this journey:
1. **Pray for the mission trip** – Please pray for safe travels, open hearts, and for God’s guidance throughout this experience.
2. **Donate** – Your financial support will directly help fund my mission trip, and in turn support the work that is being done through Jóvenes Con Propósito. Donated funds will help to cover things such as travel costs, in-country food and transportation costs, and other personal expenses while I am serving in Peru. Any additional funds may go towards future mission trips or will be donated to the organization.
3. **Share my story** – Help spread the word by sharing this post with others who may feel called to support this mission.
