Longsight Sports and Boxing Club
Donation protected
Longsight Boxing club was established in 2013, with its aim to support young people in the community through sport. It is being registered as a community focused charity, working to improve the lives of the local residents in Longsight and surrounding areas.
The club is registered as an England Amateur Boxing Club and has an excellent record of winning titles including multiple regional and national titles. Not only does the club run daily training sessions for young men to seniors, it is a safe place for young people to come to be part of a positive environment.
The club is aspiring to offer an equipped boxing gym with coaching staff and a multi-functional space will be used to encourage community cohesion and offer many varied services for people of all backgrounds and of all ages including:
· health and wellbeing services
· early intervention services
· reducing anti-social behaviour
· reducing obesity
· mentoring
· connecting the community
· tackling loneliness and isolation
We are fundraising to support the development of the club, and offer these valuable services to the local community.
