The inspiration for these worthwhile causes began when a family member of one of the organisers, Shannon Proudfoot underwent a life-saving kidney transplant operation. This would not have been possible if it wasn’t for the excellent help of the nurses and doctors in Temple Street Hospital.
The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust is close to our hearts for two of our participants who suffered the loss of family members in America and if it wasn’t for the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust that helped alleviate the financial & geographical hardship that was edured taking their loved ones home.
It was due to this that we decided to repay back the kindness that they gave to these people and the many other families during these tough times.
