Long Time Emergency Responder Needs Our Help
Donation protected
Joe Myers spent many years as an emergency responder with the Delmar Volunteer Fire Department, Delmar-Bethlehem EMS, and the Albany County Sheriff’s Office EMS Unit. As a dedicated firefighter and EMT, Joe gave thousands of hours to the Town of Bethlehem community. He achieved the rank of Captain and worked long hours in that capacity. More recently Joe has been known around the community for his home improvement and painting business. Many local kids have grown up knowing Joe as their school bus driver. Now Joe needs our help. Recently, Joe was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. It was surgically removed earlier this week at Albany Medical Center. The road to recovery is long and the tumor has impacted Joe’s ability to speak. He will not be able to work anytime soon and his wife, Donna, is out of work due to school closings. Please keep Joe in your prayers. If you can contribute to help Joe and his family, please give anything that you can.
