Dear friends,
On the eve of my 37th birthday, to celebrate life's unending promise and potential, even in the most uncertain and alarming times, I am launching this fundraiser to help support the recording and releasing of my first album "LONG LIVE THE WILD" which will be out and about later this year.
LONG LIVE THE WILD is an ode to the Wind, the reciprocal sentience of all things visible and invisible, and the great conjuring power of naming beauty. May we remember more than we forget.
It is a great personal stride to bring these intimate creations out into the world and my dearest hope is that my poetry-turned-story-turned song will bring sweetness and presence to the hearts of those who listen.
The recording process is well underway, with the brilliant collaboration of groovy genius musician and producer LUIZGA and the sensitive sound expertise of Jori Collignon.
Funds go towards all production costs, artwork and future recordings.
If it is within your means to support in this way, I am very touched and grateful for the opportunity to bring art to life together.
Thank you for the gift of your attention,
Marta, a Lince

About me:
Marta Lince is a poet, songwriter and storyteller, textile artist and weaver, caretaker to the art of ceremony and remembering of ritual. The woods of her native land of Portugal welcome her as witch.
Her work focuses on the intersection between art, ritual and magic and is co-created with land and elemental forces, silence and the invisible, symbol and myth, in devotion to mystery and animistic memory, for the re-membering of ancestral knowing and reciprocity with the sentient body of the Earth.
Marta understands words to be powerful magic, the aliveness of the wind speaking through us, a co-creation weaving breath into matter. She aspires to be a vessel for the voice of the Earth and to plant words like seeds for the blossoming of a beautiful reverent life.
