#LongLiveLosey: Celebration of an EPIC Life

Our beloved brother, son, friend,  Brett Michael Losey's soul was liberated to venture free amongst the mountains, oceans and ice rinks of his dreams this past weekend. Brett's carefree, loving, infectious and vibrant spirit is carried on by his family, friends, teammates, and any and every human being he crossed paths with throughout his EPIC 26 years of life. Everything and everyone he shared his time with was done with every particle of his being. Whether it was hockey, friendships, relationships, or everyday interactions, Brett lived his life all-in and never anything short of that.

Simply put, Brett Losey was and will forever be remembered as a LEGEND. A man who left an imprint on everything and everyone he crossed paths with along his rendition of this journey we call life. Although his passing is unfortunate, devastating, and hard to accept, it's an inevitable step in of all our journeys. As one of his best friend's and brothers, I speak for him when I assure you he would want us to celebrate his life the only way he knew how, 200%, all-in, and with no regrets. 

That being said, we will be celebrating Brett's life on Saturday March 21st from 5:30pm-12:00am at the community ice rink in Everett, WA. It's only fitting we celebrate his passing at the place where his passion and lifelong relationships started. Although he had his deep passions for the beaches and mountains, his heart was always left on the ice. Join us at the place where he spent countless hours honing his skills as a "Power Play Specialist" on the ice and also where he invested his soul into unbreakable bonds of brotherhood. 

The reality is that when our loved one's pass, those closest to them are responsible for incurring all of the expenses associated with their passing. This GoFundMe has been created to raise funds to help aide the financial burdens of his untimely passing. In addition to helping during this time of grievance, Everett Youth Hockey and Ben Affleek Enterprises LLC have agreed to invest any excess and future donations in Brett's honor into a scholarship that will be granted annually to the most ambitious, charismatic, and fitting individual that has completed the beginner's program at EYH looking to further their endeavors. 

Brett is with us every moment of everyday and I hope that anyone who feels the same way can contribute to his legacy. Whether that is monetarily, physically, both or just in spirit. Any and all funds generated from this campaign will 100% be used towards his expenses and scholarship fund. Hope to see everyone on March 21st! #LongLiveLosey
