Long Live Logan Shymac

I can't even believe I am typing this message and that this is a reality now. As most of you know, Logan passed away Wednesday June 22. Time is unknown, and details of the accident are still unknown. All we know is that he and our friend Jeff had a blowout as they were headed to Vegas for work and spun out into the median on a highway in New Mexico. We are assuming an 18-wheeler hit them when Logan and Jeff were investigating what happened to their truck and trailer. It was a complete and tragic accident. As far as I know, Logan's impact ensured he didn't suffer, and Jeff is in critical condition. I am trying to give as many details as possible, but this is all I know as of today.

Obviously, this was unexpected, and none of us were prepared for this; we are hoping to raise enough money to get him home and have a proper service. Anything is greatly appreciated, and we thank you from the bottoms of our hearts for any help that is extended our way.

Logan was my most favorite person in this entire world, my best friend, the love of my life, and I don't even know how to continue this life without him. I always told him I never wanted to live on this earth, to be a part of this world if he wasn't here. I am in unimaginable pain. But he left me the best part of him; I look at our baby girl and I see him. He was so excited to be a dad and watch her grow up, and he had so many plans. Although I am devastated that he won't be by our side through it all and won't get to watch her grow up physically, I am grateful he got to meet her and that we got to enjoy these first 5 months of her life together. I will forever tell her stories of her daddy and make sure she knows just how much he loved her. My life will never be the same, and my heart will ache forever. This world will never be the same. We lost one of the best souls, the best person I've ever known.

I want to thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. I am trying to process all of this because it still doesn't feel real but know that your messages are appreciated. Please keep Jeff and his family in your prayers and thoughts. We are hoping for him to have a speedy recovery and to be home soon.

Thank you all again. Logan will forever be missed and cherished by so many.

Rest in Paradise, my monkey, I love you so much, and I'll see you again one day.
