Our beloved Lamont Joshua McFarland Jr. recently passed on Monday - December 7th, 2020. Lamont Jr. was a wonderful son, brother, friend, and father who touched the lives of those around him. He leaves behind his mother, Ruthella Rolleand and husband Anthony Rolleand; his father, Lamont McFarland Sr. and wife Lena McFarland; his siblings, Jeremiah McFarland, Ariana McFarland-Brown, Elijah McFarland, Layla McFarland; the apple to his eye, his daughter Selah McFarland and his fiancé Taylor Payton. Lamont Jr. also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Lamont Jr. dedicated his life to family, service and God. Lamont was known for his infectious energy, always putting smiles on the faces around the people he loved. The love for his family is what kept him going; whether it was being a shield for his parents, a protector for his siblings, or being a man of integrity and good character for his fiancé and daughter. Lamont touched the lives of many. His humorous, kind, positive, caring, and honest nature made many feel safe and comfortable around him. He was a bright light and will truly be missed.
We are all devastated by Lamont’s loss. We want to give Lamont Jr. the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes.
