I Want To Live
Hi everyone, my name is Barbara and I WANT TO LIVE. I am reaching out to all of you as I was just diagnosed with Stage 3 cancer. I had surgery on February 9 and they told me that even though they removed the huge mass from my uterus. My doctor recommended 5 weeks of radiation therapy and at least one round of chemotherapy and the treatment will continue until the summer. I found out that my insurance only covers 50% after an upfront payment of $6700, and sadly, I found myself in a position where I have to reach out to you for help because the cost is going to be much more than I can afford.
I am a poet and have a book currently out on Amazon called "The Glittering Bird REBORN". Since the release of the book, I’ve been blessed with an extremely warm and kind Instagram community. I now do frequent Instagram lives where I read other authors’ poetry and share my own. It would be lovely to be connected with you, too. My handle is @barbara_soehner. I am also a Spoken word artist and this spring, I will be releasing my book in audio format. I've never even dreamed that such a thing could happen to me at the age of 75, but it has. My life was just opening up to new heights. I have a tremendous amount of faith in God and feel in my heart he will get me through this. Anything that you can afford will be deeply appreciated.
