Hello! My name is Meggan & I began fostering Chester Copperpot in December 2024. He was not able to open his jaw & was syringe fed several times a day.

Right away, it was clear Chester was a v v special guy. He stars in many Instagram & TikTok posts @kittenswith2ts. In March 2025, with the encouragement of friends & family, I adopted Chester so he could move forward, get the medical care he desperately needed & see a specialized surgeon a few hours away.

In April 2025, Chester was able to have life changing surgery to open his jaw. The surgery was a huge success & he can now eat on his own!

He recovered well but at a follow up appointment in July 2025, it was recommended his teeth behind his k9s be removed because they are decompensating & will cause him discomfort if this is not resolved.

Due to the limited mobility of his jaw, removing Chester’s teeth & giving him anesthesia is challenging. He is being scheduled to return to his surgeon to have his teeth removed.

Going back to the specialized surgeon is more expensive but local vets cannot perform the procedure due to his unique circumstances. I am fundraising for this (hopefully) final surgery for Chester Copperpot. The current estimate is $3700-$5000.
