Hi. I'm Glenn Andreiev, a Long Island based filmmaker and film historian. My new documentary, LONG ISLAND 70's tells a seldom-shared history-the tale of Long Island clubs, musicians, the bands, (too many to list) that ruled Long Island in the 1970's. Remember venues like Hammerheads, Oak Beach Inn, and Spit? Then you have the great movie-going venues like The Uniondale Mini Cinema, and the start of the Cinema Arts Centre. Let's not forget the Malls- Sunrise Mall and Smith Haven were truly the Town Center. I will also showcase the some of the infamous island crimes. You heard of the Roaring Twenties? Behold the wild, creative Seventies!

I just obtained these images from local artist Lance Laurie to be used in the film, along with many others.

I have also started creating unique segments (I have a segment on The Amityville Horror House that has stories not published anywhere else.)

My previous films, LONG ISLAND JOINS THE SPACE RACE (Segment found here ) , THE WENDY WILD STORY (Segment found here ) and LOST EMULSION (Segment found here ) were all crowdfunded. The $9,000 I am seeking allows to continue with the film. Funds are needed for:
