Long Awaited Arrival of Gage's Family

It is with great joy and anticipation that I announce that my oldest son Gage has received the most amazing news! His wife, Denisy and his daughter, KK, have had their Visas approved!!! This has been nearly 3 years in the making- so many challenges and disappointments along the way- such a frustrating journey through the US immigration system. They have been married since 2020 and it has taken this long to bring them here from Cape Verde. We are hopeful that they will arrive in February - and begin their lives together here in the US. I, for one, can hardly wait!!! I love both of these girls and can't wait to be mother-in-love and "jimmy" - arms wide open!

Please join me in welcoming them- they need ALL THE THINGS- winter clothing, doctor visits, school supplies, plane tickets, furniture and household goods, ALL the THINGS!

All of this on Gage's modest teacher salary. Any help at all would be much appreciated by us all. They can't wait to meet family and friends alike- and perhaps there will be a kind of wedding party or welcome party in the coming months-- stay tuned. No one deserves this help more! They have been patient, persistent, and supportive of each other- with so much time apart and an ocean away from each other.
