The Long Ashton Coronavirus Support Network (LACOVID Network) has been set up to provide support to members of our community whose lives are being significantly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. For all of us, day-to-day life has for the time being changed in many different ways, but we must all recognise that some members of the community are more in need of our collective help.
Over a very short period of time, the organisation has evolved and is now fully supported and partially funded by Long Ashton Parish Council. We currently have over 150 volunteers working with us and more are coming forward every day.
We have established six core areas of support that our community-facing volunteers will provide: a limited grocery service, Pharmacy Support, Support for Pet Owners, Children & Young People Support, Wellbeing Support and Financial Impact Support
• Financial Support For Our Network and For Our Residents In Financial Crisis
Currently we are operating with limited financial support from the Parish Council, but we need to secure some more funding to make sure that we can continue to deliver our services efficiently and safely to support everybody in the village that needs our help.
Rest assured that we are working hard to keep our operating costs to an absolute minimum and that everyone involved in the Network is giving their time for nothing, and will continue to do so. Every pound that we receive that isn’t needed to cover operating costs will go into the fund that has been established to help those residents who are struggling to make ends meet as as result of the pandemic.
Please help us now by donating whatever you can afford to this GoFundMe.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read our appeal. The energy and enthusiasm we have seen so far from our community is truly heart warming.
Stay safe and stay in touch and once again - THANK YOU!
